LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 275-250 BC. AE (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.62 g, 9 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to right; to right, torch. HN Italy 1688. Johnston, Bronze, 52. Beautiful glossy patina. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
